It made the travel home MUCH easier and MUCH shorter, especially being with a 4 year old.Searched the forums, but haven’t seen any recent updates on the entry experience into SXM. We received our pre-approvals, as the 3 of us are fully vaxxed and boosted. We’re traveling with our young son so are trying to set expectations/ stay ahead of the joys of airport logistics.

As far as calling to SXM, Verizon charges .50 a minute from US. All incomming calls to SXM from US to a local rental cell phone are free to the receiver. Verizon only works on the Durtch side and runs around 1.29 a min. Apart from the potholes, speed bumps, craters and sand on the roads, the roads are quite narrow, winding and hilly. Most of the parking is at the side of the road, so you have cars backing in and out of traffic.We went through regular security on Sundays in May/June, and while the line was long it was calm and you made steady progress; it took about 30-45 mins to be through and into the food court. Save. We took AAS through SXM in February. The way there (to Anguilla) is seamless and easy. We got off of our Delta flight and were on the AAS plane within 15 minutes at the most. The agents took care of our luggage and just ushered us right to the flight. The way home was way, way worse.
