I love the Kirkland Islay but initially I found it to be very one dimensional. All I was getting was a musty bandaid. Decided to try blending it with a highland whisky after watching one of Ralfy's videos on this topic. What a difference a few drops make! Thanks for the suggestion. I will try blending the Islay with Teelings this weekend. Fun, fun!

Ive not had the kirkland Islay, but if you're going to start I'd go with something mildly peated first to see if you enjoy the smokey, briney, intense flavor of peated scotch.
