Uworld definitely helped understand how the passages for psychology are written and used all their notes to create flashcards that helped me. But the info in uworld is limited. I had to use aamc to see other topic not covered in uworld.

This is more than any other test prep I have used in the past such as ATI, HESI, and LWW. This offers a student more visual learning along with repetition in reading the question's objective.The real MCAT feels harder, but the curve is better so the score ends up fine. I wouldn't say it's a difference of yield, that can vary across tests, and even difficulty of the real day varies, but the curve evens it out in the end. UWorld is, on average, slightly harder than AAMC. Relative difficulty imo would look like: CARS QP1 > UWorld, FL1 > average MCAT CARS section. I've been getting 70-80% on UWorld, which I think agrees with my FL1 CARS score of 127. Keep in mind I've also done all of TPR 2016, EK101, and NS108.

Hate to be a downer, but apparently the tests are moving in the direction of the section banks and the AAMC scored is representative in the sense that you're more likely to score around the score that you received on that. In terms of difficulty, it seems like people think that the real test is a lot harder. Getting destroyed on C/P Uworld. Is the Uworld C/P more difficult than actual MCAT? Yes I think so after doing UEarth c/p (~75-85% correct) I’ve been getting 131/132 on aamc fl’s. It is more difficult but it’s totally worth it since it has the best explanations. TPR cars book. And khan (since they’re AAMC affiliated and free) Use Testing Solutions. I had been using exam crackers (3-4 passages a day during study breaks) then jumped to uworld cars when tired of content review on other topics. I took an AAMC FL and went from a 123 to 128 so I personally think it really helped.I personally believe UWORLD is much harder. The impression I got is that OP is at the start of AAMC qpack 1, which is probably some of the tougher passages out there. It gets much better about 1/3 of the way through it, to the point it’s much easier than UWORLD.Practicing with MCAT questions that are representative of the AAMC’s MCAT curriculum is the most effective way to improve your score.
