Here it is: The section banks were the first problems created when the new MCAT was released. The AAMC created them before they did research on the new MCAT format. Since then they dumbed the MCAT down. You should do these, because there great practice but you shouldn't let them discourage you or lose confidence.
HARDER Definitely harder than both UW and NBME!!! Be prepared for a harder test. THe questions have a lot more information than the two Self assesments, take longer to read. On you NBME SA you have to get a higher percent of correct answers than the UW to get the same score. My personal observation.Balancing time between studying for the MCAT and school. 51%. I've been doing Uworld for about a month now and it's going great (Avg a little shy of 70%. I feel half I miss are content, the other half are because I do something dumb/overthink). Finished the Physics portion (probably my weakest) and have been just reviewing and redoing questions. I will eventually lead into AAMC stuff my last month.

UWorld is hard. It's similar difficulty to section bank. But it's good practice and reinforces concepts. Don't worry about % correct on it. I did about the same as you. All of them are generally harder than the AAMC tests themselves. Kaplan's are the most similar to the AAMC (add 2-3 pts to your FLE score) and Princeton Review's are the hardest (I bombed a PR test and then scored 16 points higher on an official AAMC test THE NEXT DAY). ...
