We describe it as a resonant clanking noise. When i say resonant I mean it sounds like something making nouse inside of something hollow.AlfaOBD only requires a one-time license then will work on any number of FCA vehicles, not locked to any VINs. I also have an Ancel scanner, but have not tried it on my Jeeps. got it for 12 bucks when it was on sale last October. Be careful clearing codes- you may want codes left in place if there's a need to get a dealer involved.
