If I want to spawn an event chain (in my case the Doorway/dimensional portal) how do I do that using the console. I have tried just firing the event (event colony.3005 0) and it brings up the text but then there's no way to continue. I also tried manually adding the portal research facility as a planetary feature to no avail.
If you complete the infinity machine one outcome explains that every black whole is birthing a new universe etc. It goes on to say you can see the universes through the black whole after the infinity machine punches through it. Hi, I have a similar issue. Although I destroyed the portal, destroyed all Unbidden ships and conquered back all Unbidden system one anchor is still missing.... the crisis is still open in the situation log and one anchor still exists andbis in my home system. I downgraded the starbase to lowest level and its value is around 18.500 Ksee pocture.
Not destroying the ship increases the chance of the Unbidden showing up and makes it earlier. Or it used to. Not sure if they changed it. If you're not a ME or Hivemind accepting the ship will create a new faction of xenophiles I think. So if you're playing different ethics you should destroy it.
