"recently" = January… months before TOTK was released, or changes to yuzu were made for its rendering issues. So it looks worse than native 720p/1080p games. If you use Yuzu emulator's 2x resolution, the game was up-scaled twice to 2K/4K, which looks as bad as its original resolution.

It can run 30 FPS in shrines because shrines are less intensive. The open world is a lot more intensive, thus it’s harder to keep a consistent 30 (for now). The YUZU team works pretty fast and they’re very good. The latest benches are telling. Cemu drops tons frames at 4k while yuzu very little. The difference now after updates is like 10fps at 4k between them. Soon yuzu may even be faster. They arent done adding the updates yet.
