Even with a slow pace this can't be more than 5 minutes...you walk out the door of Vdara and around 1/2 of Harmon Circle and into Aria. This can't be more than a block and a half walk from door to door. The standard room is considerably larger (582 sq ft) than Bellagio (510) or Aria (520) which can make a difference when there are people sharing. I love the Bellagio but Aria is nice too and is more modern whereas Bellagio is more classic Vegas.
