The Suffolk Bicycle Riders Association, Long Island's largest cycling club, invites you to join us on a variety of rides and events. Organized in 1977, we are a club made up of all ages and cycling abilities. Active members enjoy riding together year round in a relaxed and friendly group atmosphere. Our usual ride out to Panera in Riverhead where we will take our break. Sould be a bit warmer than last weeks ride. The group stays together, waitups and stops for riders that fall behind. Any questions feel …View Larger Map The South Route ride is going out via Old Country Rd and a few more scenic minor very bike friendly roads to Dune Road for a long fast run with quick reassembly just after the bridge, proceeding North via the beautiful Southport area with a few rollers and having a rest stop at the Seven-Eleven on Montauk Hwy before the return.Ride specifically for New Members or Beginner Riders. But Everyone is welcome. Before starting out we will discuss group riding, bicycle safety,reading a cue sheet and traffic law. Then out for a very easy pace flat ride approx 20 miles. Pace will be based on the groups ability and we can adjust the distance based on the groups preferences.
