It’s probably the closest anyone has come to making a video game that plays like tabletop if you’re running a solo adventure controlling the whole party. Snow gets +1 dex, and the heavy crossbow proficiency is nice for a back up option at longer ranges. Hill gets +1 wis, and the extra hp per level is nice and builds into the theme. Plus the fact that Solasta only has the basic, limited licence for 5e, means you're not really even getting the full experience of the game system. The only annoying thing (and this feels like a Solasta problem that would have worked fine in real D&D) you can’t trigger sneak with gauntlet fists even if it’s using Dex, and you also couldn’t equip +1/+2 gauntlets while using a dagger or shortsword because they “were not a light weapon” so you couldn’t dual wield with them.
