Camshaft position sensor help. Alright guys and gals. Thanks in advance if you can help me. I just replaced my passenger side camshaft position sensor and it did not seem to do anything. The issue was the engine not turning over easily and the slip light kicking on. I ran the code and it read for a bad senor on the passenger side.

Bank 2 is the left side (driver's) and that sensor has an angled wiring harness socket. Can't comment on the "grooves" you mention.
