Wow, this looks like a great idea. Thanks for posting it. I have a Mighty Player, which syncs Spotify playlists and allows for offline playback. I like it, but it's major drawback is that one can't actually access Spotify on the go - just the pre-synced playlists. This plus a dumb phone's WiFi hotspot seems like an excellent solution.
