Jun 4, 2020 · I visit your forum and I must say it is great. Two years ago I fulfilled my dream and bought a new Durango RT AWD. From the very beginning the car has a problem with a warm start. When Durango tries to start with a warm engine after about 1.5 - 2 hours of standing, it does not want to start. The diagnostics do not show any fault.

In this case then this sort of (maybe) eliminates the crankshaft position sensor but leaves a flaky/intermittent fuel pump as a possible explanation. If possible you want to when you go to start the engine try to confirm the fuel pump is running. If you go to start the engine and do not hear the pump running then that tells you something. Share.
