Here is how it looked after 90 rounds. I have since installed a Mcarbo CPX3 trigger spring kit, and did a little polishing on friction surfaces. This upgrade is not easy - frame pins are a bear to work with. Now my trigger pull while still a 9/16" distance, is down to 3.5 - 4lbs. The pistol ran another 90 rounds after upgrade flawlessly.
Dec 23, 2021 · The fix is relatively simple. You mark the place where the back of the trigger hits the poly. Removed existing spring, used a # 25 drill to clear the epoxy(?) seal and cleaned the hole with a #10-24 tap and then installed the kit as per video instruction. The 2.5 lb trigger pulled at 2 lb 6 oz 1st pull and then dropped to 1 lb 11oz to 1 lb 15 oz on subsequent pulls. Trigger is crisp quick take-up and short overtravel.
