I have traded with both and my answer will vary depending on how you trade. Oanda's stated costs are cheaper overall but the spreads can go crazy wide during news or at times, it seems, for no reason at all. I have traded with them off and on for years and every time I go with them I get reminded quickly why I left.

I have both oanda and forex.com ( account was transferred when FXCM stopped operating in the u.s). Oanda has way better spreads and their MetaTrader servers have 4pm daily close.
