Actually you can use fxtrade to trade mt4 accounts. Or at least you can use the mobile app. You can actually "break" the rules of mt4 that way.

Oanda has been really crap recently. Especially their app. The balances are not correct over 10 second lag when completing trades or checking prices and now they won't let you trade crypto durring the weekend.

I have traded with both and my answer will vary depending on how you trade. Oanda's stated costs are cheaper overall but the spreads can go crazy wide during news or at times, it seems, for no reason at all. I have traded with them off and on for years and every time I go with them I get reminded quickly why I left.
