This includes using just bar end weights and people have tried and used them. For street with a v twin, I like a clip-on including oem internal and bar end weights. YMMV.

NOTE, I found that the pimpbikes undertail does not fit the SP2 RC51 (2002+) without modifications (cutting). The OEM undertray is different between the SP1 and SP2, especially with how the ECU sits in the tray. I recently ordered and received my RC51 pimpbikes.com undertail off of ebay. Thus we follow the rule that says: You press the chain against the swingarm at the point that it touches (barely) the end of the slider's underneath.

Colors have been the only thing changed from '02-'06 (SP2). I've yet to hear of any real "problems" other than tank leaks on a few SP1 bikes which Honda will warranty... The RC51's with the ARATA and Akra slip-ons did not have the soft-limiter removed so they automatically lose out on peak horsepower and while the numbers would indicate that the Banzai had a win if you look at the actual graph it was just a hiccup at the end of the run. I just received my RC51 Ladybird oval slip on exhaust for the RC51 from Simonkobe. These oval cans are shorter than the original version our very helpful member b.miller123 had pictures of on a few forums. No full bike pics currently exist for these shorter versions that I'm aware of.Install and secure the retainers that hold the chain adjuster to the back edge of the swingarm. 5. Adjust the actual sliders using the bolt on the end of the adjuster so the 2 holes in the adjuster are about even. 6. Slide your axle through. 6. Adjust your chainslide to get the proper slack in the chain and tighten the nut on the axle.
