On these newer machines, from the 2014 1K's and up, you cannot have your foot on the brake and the gas at the same time, for more than just a fer seconds before it throws a code. I had the check engine code 520285 but everything seemed to test out okay. I disconnected battery and also unplugged everything connected to the dash and removed dash to install lights, etc. plugged everything back in three weeks later and had this same code as well as the eps light.
