Tried to start the truck. the engine was a junkyard engine pulled from a running wrecked vehicle. pulled engine apart and injectors and cp3 looked to be new. I modified the wire harness and i did accidentally cut one wire but i fixed that. It is the fuel that lubricates the fuel pump and also cools the pump, and when you have neither, what you get is a fule pump that doesn't work as it should. Depending on build date, your 2022 would have had it from the factory. If built before then the dealer should have applied the update whenever the truck was in for service -- imo especially if it was a start process complaint. The updated software takes about (iirc) 0.2 seconds longer crank before it injects fuel and starts.Replaced the fuel filter, filled with fuel and no air bubbles this time when priming.
