Jun 2023 • Family. Sequoia is a very nice park. There are a lot of trees that you can get close to for pictures. The General Sherman Tree is easy to get to. Go to the parking lot and hike 7/10 of a mile OR take a shuttle from the parking lot to an easy 3/10 of a mile hike to the tree. Lots of beautiful scenery and big trees here.

We had to place an order at the counter and get an order number. This took around 15 min since there were several groups ahead of us. They bring your order out to you, but water is self-service. We chose to sit indoors since it was a very hot day.
