For destroying the orphix, bastion mode is 100% the way to go (there are 2 main bastion build strategies, max damage or max rate of fire, I went with max damage for the longest time which was a mistake, rate of fire is better.) Keep in mind, bastion/arquebex has projectile drop, if you aren't doing damage, lift your aim.
