It will do this for a couple of days then go away for weeks . No issues with performance.Oil Light Flashing. Alright, 265K 97 ODY, timing belt replaced 6k ago. Oil light comes on flashing first at idle after a good 20 mi drive. No rough idle, no more new noises like not enough oil on moving parts. Then in park after flashing oil light, a solid light. Checked oil and its full, with clear fluid and new filter two weeks ago.Lots of shaking, and idle was 1200-1300rpm instead of its usual 800-900. Started accelerating, definitely loss of power, and babied it to our planned stop and figured I'd do a little research. 30 minutes later, checked the oil which was at least 1/3 above the min marker, then the car restarted just fine with no flashing light.939 posts · Joined 2002. #4 · Aug 2, 2012. Thanks to Overboosten I was able to order a $10 Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) off of Ebay and it took me about 20 minutes to replace it. Two days later and everything is working as it should.Gen 4 = 2011 +. When the D4 light flashes without the CEL or TCS, it means a problem with the transmission, but it's usually not catastrophic. Nov 9, 2020 · 4 posts · Joined 2012. #1 · Nov 9, 2020. Just experienced this problem which seems to be common. On an extended drive, 180 miles, the D indicator light started to flash. I checked the Automatic Transmission Fluid and it appeared fine, topped off and not discolored, i just had it at the Dealer for a new starter and they checked all the fluids. The check engine light does not come on at all. It is only the “D” Drive green light that blinks. Once it start blinking it won’t stop until I turn off the engine, and the blinking is constant with no pause. Also, I have to wait for the engine to cool off before turning it on again, otherwise the Drive green light will still blink.

It operated perfect. Now as the subject line says, Im having a CEL + TCS + Flashing D4 light. DTC code I pulled from it was a p1751. Transmission is not right either. When this happens, the transmission shifts just a little harder than normal into 2nd & 3rd an does not shift into 4th/5th and does not lockup the TC.
