I've personally found myself using the vanilla model more, but still wanted to offer the edited model. Redone face and body textures with light freckles/beauty marks, more natural looking eyebrows. This works perfectly fine with my Astarion Earrings, as well as any mod that edits Astarion given that it's completely new items.
