Aac 77gr otm review.

Better accuracy than many of the 77gr rounds I tested in fact. Seems to be love for 69gr from 1:9" barrel. My Colt 20" H-Bar with 1:9 twist really likes 69 grain SMK as does my 16" 1:7 twist Tavor. I have tried 75's and 77's in the Tavor but it shoots 69 grain SMK best followed by most 55 grain ammo I've tested.Not sure on the AAC specific bullets but I chose 75gr over 77gr for better terminal ballistics vs better accuracy. With some of the reports out there of some problem rounds, I removed all 500rds from the boxes and examined each one. The below were the worst of the 500rds. Most of the other rounds had some blemishes on the casing or a minor dimple in the case.The Sierra MatchKing bullet is an Open Tip Match design. Take note that the offerings by AAC are ~150 fpm less that the IMI 77gr SMK OTM LR MOD 1. I got 2682 fps over 10 rounds with a 16" LT stealth barrel.
