It would click real bad when cold, noticeably clicked when accelerating, went away sometimes, came back sometimes. Did it real bad when I'd shift into reverse and back up.As we were continuing to inspect the sound, it NO longer made a grinding noise when shifting into DRIVE or REVERSE or NEUTRAL, BUT when shifting out of those gears into PARK, it made a repeated but intermittent clicking noise like a lever was trying to catch onto something and then stops, all while the car still stayed on without issue.

Be sure all the vacuum lines are a tight fit and if you still have noise put the old PCV back in and see if it ticks. The PCV could easily cause the ticking. Also be sure the plug wires are on tight.
