My Acadia SLT has recently been making a rattling noise when turning left and during acceleration. When Parked if I accelerate the rattling noise also can be heard but diminishes when the engine goes back to normal idle. It drives smooth, but sometimes accelerating slowly like in stop and go traffic, the transmission always seems to be in a low RPM range (1000-1300) and I get this Growl sound for a few seconds till the RPM rise.

This only occurs when the A/C is in the on position. Sounds like a compressor bearing. Will have to take in to the dealer for a diagnosis.
