3 Answers. Put the key in the ignition, and turn it so the lights and everything come on, do not start the engine, then pump the brakes 3 times, turn it off, and then start the engine. This worked for my 2008 for fusion. (if the brakes don't work, try the gas 3 times make sure the engine is off and the car is in park)
