At some point it just stopped starting. I took the following steps: *Emptied the gas tank and put clean fuel in. *Cleaned the Carb with Carb Cleaning Fluid. *Replaced the air filter and spark plug. *Replaced the fuel line system. *Finally replaced the carb. It still won't start.

Echo SRM 225, used once, now won't start. I think the fuel/oil mix may have been too much oil, so I went in and cleaned the carburetor.. first time I cleaned it, it started up right away, but then it hasn't started since. Ive replaced the gas, cleaned carburetor again, pulled out spark plug, wiped it down, doesn't appear dirty or anything.

Pay special attention to the screw that sits under the throttle at the max opening. The throttle needs to lift up to pass over the screw head. For some reason when ever it tips over on its side, with the carburator down, gas leaks out and floods the engine. I have a SRM-265 and it does not have this problem, neither does my Stihl FS90R.
