I have had many issues with these sensors: dropped readings, sensor errors, bad readings. I have contacted Dexcom all the time and they just send me a new sensor. The G6 graph on the iPhone/Droid phone app does *not* smooth the data. Thus OP is correct in asking of the G7 graph is more "jumpy". In my and others experience, the answer is YES, the G7 graph is more jumpy when compared to raw values seen on the G6 phone app. To be fair, some users have seen smooth G7 data on their phone app. Lucky them!
