If you go to lvl 150 and go for 50/50 strength and skill you wont need to worry about what weapon you're using, cause with endgame gems, you'll be doing crazy damage on any weapon.

All weapons are viable in Bloodborne. It really depends on your build. With your stats, go for weapons that scale well with skill (blades of mercy, burial blade, threaded cane etc). Quality weapons like the saw cleaver and saw spear can also be used. Go with what you like using more.

The running 2H is also extremely good at pressuring just be careful if your opponent is expecting it. That's my opinion of this weapon is that the range is sacrificed with speed so it requires a different mindset/gameplan. You can mash R1 while 1H, but it totally defeats the potential of the weapon and you WILL lose to faster weapons when trading.
