Best woods cam for 103.
Feb 10, 2016 · In my opinion and others, the 555 and the 777 underperform in the 103 configuration. I had Woods TW777, which worked well, but that being said, this configuration will be more stock as far as the engine is concerned. Meaning the pistons, heads, and whatnot will be stock. I ride over 20K a year.
Cam thoughts for 2014 Ultra Classic. Does anyone have any thoughts on the Woods tw-222 cams. I am considering them to wake up my 103 a little. I guess my concern is the .555 lift and potential valve train damage. So far so good.Need a few more sessions with the Tmax to get a better feel for it.Keeping this cam below 3000 rpm is goin to be tuff for break-in.The cam seems to really want to stretch it's legs easily beyond 3K but it should I guess.Mar 6, 2015 · They do 2, 5, 10, 20, 40, 60 & 100 percent runs while the dyno applies the brake to hold rpm, when the O2 sniffer hits preset afr it send it to the PC and goes up to the next rpm step. They ran a 2014 Heritage with a 103/6 speed, stage 1 and pipes, made 78hp & 95ft/lbs. One of the best overall cams to come along that makes good hp and tq with not much involved is the Andrews 57H cams. More along the lines of 115HP and 125 lbs. of torque. 85 -90 HP 100-105 tq on a stock 103 with the 555. 100 hp 110 tq on a stock 103 that would be pretty hard to achieve.

Dyno run on my twin cam 103 2014 rk. Had Woods 222 cams and feuling 5.3 g/s high flow injectors installed. Thing is a torque monster now.The 254 just runs HOT! So far, it's doing great. The woods TW-6 is a good cam at that compression. Also the TW-26 or the TW-37 with the 26 being more bottom end oriented and the 37 more mid and top end oriented at that displacement and compression.
