Start the switch in the CFW and go to the hbmenu (Homebrew Menu). Choose the Tinfoil thereInstaller and install it on the SD card. But I can see a list of my games and when I boot tinfoil I get a message welcoming me into 2021 saying it's still working.

Tinfoil is simply a utility software platform that game shops can be added to. Think of tinfoil as the mall and the shops as… shops. Saying "tinfoil doesn't work" is inaccurate. It would be like going to the mall, seeing 1 shop closed, and going "the entire mall is closed." In short you need to turn your Gmail into a Google developers account. Make an app that specifically links to your Gmail drive. Rename the file to credentials.json I think. Run that app in nut, which then creates another file. Then copy the 2 files over to the tinfoil folder.
