Starfish is the most consistent option for lobster on St. John. Yes to Calabash for local fish as well as great Mediterranean dips. Dave’s Coral Bay Fresh Market has fresh fish that he vacuum packs. The Upstairs Bar is where the former Doghouse Pub was. It’s a fun space and they’ve added plenty of fans to keep the air moving. It’s a straightforward place featuring hot dogs and tater tots. This is run by the team that runs The Windmill Bar. 6 years ago. There may be jet ski rentals at the Westin on St John. You should check with them. Sapphire Marina probably has best, but not sure who has that business now. It may still be Dive In! When filtering villa rentals, it seems on St. John, needing 5 bedrooms puts you in Peter Bay, or at least by the time I started looking, it did. My go -to villa rental agency is www.wheretostay.com. It was a very last minute trip we planned and of course, over the Christmas holidays we had few options.I think it is about 90 miles long. You can go all week and never loose sight of land but sail for 3-4 hours a day and spend the morning or afternoon at a different mooring on a different island. With the USVI there are 3 main islands.
