I cried A LOT and was pretty sure I failed. I did the Pearson Vue trick no less than 1000 times and got the "bad pop up" every time. I read post after post about how the trick is supposedly 99.9% accurate which made me even more depressed. I was already looking into which cities I could travel to to attend an in-person NCLEX review! I had heard mixed things saying you had to wait >2 hours, or, >24 hours for it to "really" work, so perhaps that's why I had the results I did. I did the PVT the evening after my exam, after waiting a few hours. I got the "bad" pop up, allowing my CC ( which was an empty visa gift card) to go through. I recently took my NCLEX and passed and was told by a friend who took and passed hers too that there are actually 2 different completion emails sent out, a “good one” if you passed and a “bad one”. A friend of hers did not pass and got the “bad” email that talks about how the exam is graded.
