Online Class: Yes. Professor Ma is arguably one of my favorite professors at LSU. He's incredibly knowledgeable and I learned so much valuable information. OCS 1005 was pretty easy. Professor Benfield is very kind, but the lectures can be boring. Attendance is not mandatory, but he gives extra credit for attendance on random days. Our grade is made up of four exams, but the exams are very similar to our review quizzes. If you attend class and study and memorize the review quizzes, you will get an A.She seems like a shy TA/professor but other than that class was easy, just really have to study the practice exams if you want to do good in Math. He clearly cares for his students and wants us to succeed. The class itself is difficult but that's how Calc 2 would be with any teacher even if they're really good. He's very accessible outside of class via email and during office hours. His classes were fun even w/Calc 2!I don't think she actually reads them, I think she just puts in a grade. This class teaches you a lot about understanding the human body, great for med school.
