Find a group and keep running the legend over and over without doing anything else. that way you keep the streak bonus. I think someone said it takes 69 runs to get to rank 16. I did other things in between and it took me approx 100 runs to obtain rank 16. Also the 30th event likely isn't going away for a good while so you have time.
