Fri, Aug 10, 2018, 9:34am (UTC -6) "Second Skin" is great drama. It further develops the Cardassians-easily the most interesting of the major aliens in the Trek universe-and manages to generate some tension even though the audience should be fairly sure that Kira isn't a Cardassian.
Really a throw-away B-plot if a DS9 episode ever had one. I think a lot of the comments and Jammer's review are too harsh. Regarding McCoy's comment, there is a certain context being missed. The analogy isn't a group of Cubans settling on an island off the coast of the USA (as suggested by others on this thread).
