At 8dpo a mere whisper of a line is all you could expect. I wouldn't rule out it being positive. In my long history of pregnancies and testing, I aim to hold out to 11dpo as by then first response tests are pretty reliable. Any hint I've of a line I've had has always been due to pregnancy- the negatives are always completely blank. Indents on FRERs can be so deceiving and I’m posting this to hopefully help others out. These are a few photos from a FRER I took this morning and then 2 hours later I got AF. The line was more prominent in person but I can also see it on edited photos. To save myself the heartache, I have to be done...My line seems to be progressing with the FRER, but omg I HATE the Pregmate tests!!! They are so terrible!! I’m not really sure, my LMP was March 23 and my cycles are normally 32 days long (+/- a day or two). I feel like I ovulate a little later in my cycle, and technically my period was due within the last day or so.

Can't tell anymore… not 100% sure on my dpo but still a little earlyWorried about whether you have a faint line, an indent, or an evap? Indent lines are usually visible on a test prior to dipping or may appear once they are dipped as a colorless line. Evap lines can occur when a test had dried and read outside of the timeframe specified in the instructions.
