Removing it is very easy, just use your fingernail on one of the corners and try to lift it slowly and carefully. I've been contemplating removing mine from my zf4, simply because the edges of it bother me. But I haven't because I haven't been able to find much people talking about the experience on the zf4.
Screen protectors are so cheap, and any half-decent quality one will be hard to notice. I always put a case on my phone, but finding a good case for a Fold is hard. I got one mainly for having a built-in kick stand, because this completely changes the way I use the phone. If the first uBreakiFix store couldn't replace it or didn't want to replace it, call other uBreakiFix locations near you if there are any.

Well this weekend it started lifting more and now every time I open the fold it lifts more.I took my Fold 3 there when the screen protector was coming off. They did a terrible job. The fix is a whole screen replacement. The edges of the new screen protector were messed up. They were peeling like the repair tech handled it very roughly or didn't know what he was doing.
