For me, and some others, the cheek weld on Tikkas is way too low and requires a riser or comb of some sort. The three that I am contemplating are; Christensenarms Ridgeline, Kimber Mountain Ascent & Howa 1500 RN addition - all in 6.5 PRC. Ridgeline | Christensen Arms. My current 308 long range rig is built on a Tikka T3 that has been refitted with a Krieger barrel and XLR chassis. I don't like the proprietary mag thing, but otherwise the Tikka chassis rifles are good to go. Seen plenty at matches and they seem to be solid. The tikka is better over all. You can get a full howa set up for under 300. A base tikka will run 500-600. With all that said I can safely say practical accuracy is really a wash between the three, the premier action has a floating bolt head which is a plus and the trigger is awesome in the premier action.

The Bergara B-14 Terrain Wilderness comes with a cerakoting, AI mag, and adjustable comb stock with flush cups. It also has a 1:10 twist barrel. The Tikka is stainless and has a 1:11 twist barrel.

I notice no difference in accuracy with the mcmillan and I actually prefer the fit and feel of the tikka factory stock a bit more. That being said my dad recently passed away and he had a CA Mesa in a 6.5 creed. Grand Junction, CO. Our T3 and T1x inlet is the same footprint with a different trigger guard. There was a little additional clearance needed for the T1x mag to fit correctly! The additional trigger guard is only $25 and is super easy to swap!
