I would probably start by checking the valve lash and checking for any air leaks. Then I might move to the carb if you are still having problems.However there was about 75% of the other mechanics there that knew about the problem and had tryed there own way to fix it. if you dont feel confident doing it your self, take it to the dealer, but make shore that they know what you mean when you tell them the problem.
